I've filled in the missing bits, you can check it https://github.com/RedHatPerf/redhatperf.github.io/blob/283221cd1e856e8654c335b4b6a26993052c080b/content/post/superheroes-automation/index.adoc

I still think there are some sections that can be simplified or even removed, but I would appreciate your feedback and suggestions @stalep @franz1981 🙏🏻

I think it looks very good, the breakdown of the qdup script was very well described and should work as a very good starting point for users to go forward with.

This could be a series of blogs, either going in the direction of exploring how to integrate this to push data to a Horreum instance (that does require that we have a fairly easy way to start Horreum) or eg focusing on how we can use qdup to automate profiling of the SUT etc...

I like it @lampajr well done!
I have just a couple of thoughts - which can be addressed in another round (or never) for a next part too:

  1. why qDup vs...?: I'm not familiar with many other orchestrator tools but if I think specifically to another one e.g. Z I would ask myself: why these folks didn't just embrace the tool Z instead of writing and maintaining this qDup?
  2. https://github.com/Hyperfoil/qDup/blob/984661b2fb067afbb92a5ebbbb5ddb289cf6aedc/docs/reference/roles.adoc#setup: this is a good example of what qDup take care of you to do vs doing things yourself in bash ( + ssh + whatever) e.g. taking snaptshots of the environment to ensure bla bla bla - this is maybe advanced but nice to be quoted

Yeah I think these are good points to discuss in a follow-up post, which can also mention how we persist the results in Horreum and do analytics on them.
