Already on 1.6 or 1.7? Click Update now in the tray panel (or Settings → General → Check for updates). "Windows protected your PC"? PhoneEdge isn't code-signed yet: click More info → Run anyway.
New
- Stay on the PC during full-screen games and videos. While a game or video fills the screen, pushing the mouse past the edge no longer jumps to the phone, so a fast flick in a game can't throw you out of it. Ctrl+Alt+Q still crosses when you want to. On by default; switch it off in Settings → Mouse & keyboard.
Fixed
- Next, Previous and Play/Pause on the phone remote work more reliably. They now go straight to the player Windows shows in its volume pop-up (Spotify, YouTube in the browser, …), even when a game, an app running as administrator or keyboard software is in front. The note at the bottom right names the player (for example "Next · Spotify").
Everything new in 1.7 (the phone's screen at the edge, arranging your PC apps on the phone, phone snips straight to the PC clipboard): see PhoneEdge 1.7.
Tested on a Honor Magic V3 (Android 16) with Windows 11. Includes scrcpy 5.0.1 (with SDL3, FFmpeg, libusb), adb and NAudio; their licenses are in the download.
