Download (all three are the same PhoneEdge 1.7.0):

  • PhoneEdge-1.7.0-Setup.exe (~57 MB): run it, done. It also updates an older PhoneEdge (your settings stay). Not sure? Take this one.
  • PhoneEdge-1.7.0-win-x64-bundled.zip (~79 MB): no installer, .NET included.
  • PhoneEdge-1.7.0-win-x64.zip (~13 MB): for PCs that already have the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.

Already on 1.6? Click Update now in the tray panel (or Settings → General → Check for updates). On 1.4 or 1.5 and it says it can't reach GitHub? Download the Setup above once; from 1.6 on, updates work with one click. "Windows protected your PC"? PhoneEdge isn't code-signed yet: click More info → Run anyway.

New: the phone's screen at the edge

  • Phone not in front of you? Settings → Mouse & keyboard → Show the phone screen at the edge. Then pushing the mouse past the phone's edge shows the phone's screen right there, docked at the edge of your PC screen, and you use it with the PC mouse and keyboard. Push past the edge again to close it. Off by default.
  • Instant: while it's on, the phone's screen waits hidden in the background, so it appears the moment you push (about 3 ms). It pauses by itself while the PC is locked or asleep.
  • Drag a file past the edge and drop it on the phone's screen to send it to the phone.

New in the phone extras (update themselves to version 13)

  • Arrange your PC apps on the phone: on the Remote screen, hold an app and drag it where you want it. The PC keeps the same order.
  • Phone snips straight to the PC: with the mouse on the phone, Win+Shift+S and pick an area: the snip is also copied to the PC, so Ctrl+V pastes it into Discord, WhatsApp, Word, Paint… (it's still saved on the phone too).

Also new

  • Hide Android's "Shell pasted from your clipboard" notice: Settings → Connection → On the phone. Android shows it each time a copy on the phone reaches the PC; this turns it off (for every app on the phone).

Tested on a Honor Magic V3 (Android 16) with Windows 11. Includes scrcpy 5.0.1 (with SDL3, FFmpeg, libusb), adb and NAudio; their licenses are in the download.
