ChatDock Beta Build 1.6.1
New in Beta Build 1.6.1
- Scrolling doesn't open the chat. A maximized browser's scrollbar sits right at the screen edge, so scrolling a page there used to bring out the white tab. Now, when you turn the mouse wheel with the pointer on the edge (or on the tab), the growing line and the tab go away and stay away until you move off the edge. Moving to the edge and holding still opens the chat as before.
- It is on by default; Settings → Opening the chat → Scrolling at the edge doesn't open it switches it off.
- How it works: while the edge is being held (or the tab is out), ChatDock gets a read-only copy of the mouse's input from Windows to notice the wheel. It never delays the mouse for anything else, games included, and listens only during that moment.
Install
Already have ChatDock? Press Update when the update pop-up comes (or Check for updates in Settings → Updates). From an Electron version (1.4 or older), the installer replaces the old copy by itself and keeps your logins.
New here? Download ChatDock_1.6.1_x64-setup.exe below and run it. The installer isn't code-signed with a Windows certificate, so SmartScreen may warn: choose More info → Run anyway.
