[BUG] TypeError: fetch failed sending request for any task with Gemini

I'm using Roo Code with Gemini. Recently it's started failing for any task with this error:
API Request Failed
Gemini generate context stream error: exception TypeError: fetch failed sending request

I tried switching models and tried many, it doesn't seem to be related.
I checked the API key I'm using, it works fine (in curl).
I understand it seems more like a local issue. But can you please point me where I can see more logs or a way to diagnose it.

Context (who is affected and when)

the issue doesn't seem to be related to user's actions, any task via Gemini fails

I'm exploring a potential fix for the Gemini fetch error and will open a PR to share progress. Looking into the fetch failure issue that's affecting API requests to Gemini.

Opened a PR with my attempt at addressing this issue: #9466

The fix adds proxy support to the Gemini API client to handle fetch failures when behind corporate proxies. It checks for HTTP_PROXY/HTTPS_PROXY environment variables and falls back to axios when native fetch fails.
