How SDWebImage cache works

Hello,

I am trying to understand how SDWebImage cache works?

I mean, how the library knows, it has to update image or not ?

-> 2 ways:

• The url is different (with a different timestamp in the query for example)
• With a header http like a TTL

Do you agree with that?

My real question is, if SDWebImage look at the TTL, it means, it previously downloaded the image ?
So it download 2 times the image for no real reason.

Have you some explanation ? clarification ?
