SoniqBoom v1.9.2
- Remote FTP shares no longer re-scan from scratch on every poll. A share whose listing fell back to LIST — or any share after a spurious server reply — used to re-download every file on each background freshness check (~12 minutes for a 21,000-file share). Structured (MLSD) listing is now reliable, real modification times are recovered even from servers that don't support MLSD, and already-degraded entries heal in place — so an unchanged share is detected as unchanged: a poll is near-instant, and a full re-index re-downloads only genuinely new or changed files (unchanged archives are served from the index instead of being re-downloaded).
- Smarter background polling. Quiet shares relax toward the 4-hour maximum instead of polling on a stale busy cadence, and a full walk — including deleted-track cleanup — is guaranteed at least every few hours no matter how relaxed the cadence gets.
- Safer deleted-track cleanup. Cleanup is now per-folder and is skipped for any folder whose listing failed mid-scan, so a transient network hiccup can no longer purge a folder's tracks as if the files were deleted.
- FTP connection pool auto-recovers its worker cap. A transient "too many clients" rejection no longer pins the pool below your configured scan/stream budget until a restart — it eases back up on its own, while a genuine server limit or a manually-set/probed cap is respected.

The build steps are in this release's Dockerfile. The other programs in the image are Debian 12 (bookworm) packages; docker run --rm --entrypoint dpkg-query <image> -W lists them with their versions, and their source packages are available from https://snapshot.debian.org/.
The in-browser SID engine (soniqboom/frontend/js/vendor/sidwasm.js and sidwasm.wasm, GPL-2.0-or-later) is libsidplayfp 2.16.1 with reSIDfp, compiled to WebAssembly. A wrapper, patches and build script that rebuild this engine with identical output are in soniqboom/native/sidwasm/ of the SoniqBoom repository.
