MeshCoreSniffer v1.0.3 (Windows x64)
Portable Windows x64 build.
Changes in v1.0.3:
- Fixed the RTL-SDR gain mode. librtlsdr uses
0 = automaticand1 = manual, so the previous code ran at minimum gain for--gain autoand ignored--gain <dB>. Live decoding now gets the gain you ask for. - Live trigger now measures in-band energy instead of broadband RMS, with a rolling-median noise floor. Weak/moderate packets trigger, and noise spikes can no longer leave the receiver stuck false-triggering.
- End-of-burst detection uses a median window, so impulse noise no longer stretches captures to the 2 s limit or truncates packets.
- Live mode now defaults to 250 kHz (4x oversampling of the 62.5 kHz channel), matching the known-good IQ recordings. 500 kHz and 1 MHz still work via
--rate. - Faster failure paths (bounded burst/phase search, no full-rate fallback above 4x oversampling), so the receiver keeps up with the sample stream.
- Added a diagnostic
--dump-dir DIRoption to save captured bursts as WAV files.
Includes:
- MeshCoreSniffer.exe
- librtlsdr.dll
- libusb-1.0.dll
- licenses/ (librtlsdr GPL-2.0, libusb LGPL-2.1)
Live RTL-SDR is the default. On Windows the RTL-SDR needs the WinUSB driver installed (e.g. with Zadig).
Usage:
MeshCoreSniffer.exe
MeshCoreSniffer.exe --key
MeshCoreSniffer.exe --freq 869.525
MeshCoreSniffer.exe --iq capture.wav
If live decode still fails, run with --verbose to see trigger, capture and decoder diagnostics.
