CI failure in preconditioner tests #382

CI tests in 'test/common_interface/precs.jl' still fail with Julia 1.8.5, even after PR #380
These tests pass with Julia 1.8.3 and 1.9.0-beta2 on my local Windows PC. Also the CI failure doesn't look like it is (now) anything to do with Sundials, as the failure still occurs even if all calls to Sundials are removed (the calls to 'solve' in precs.jl).
Possible clue: on my Win 10 PC with Julia 1.9.0-beta2, precompilation of ModelingToolkit for precs.jl tests takes 49GB memory ('Commit size' for julia.exe in Windows task manager), so perhaps hits some CI resource limit ?
