Find physical stores
Find a business's stores by city or neighborhood, search around supplied coordinates, or narrow to a product variant. Use shop location search to discover stores and shop location lookup for details on locations you already found.
Understand your account and orders
Search your Shop-tracked order history, with in-progress orders shown by default and completed orders available through --status all. Your account now shows granted spending limits, renewal periods and remaining allowance when available, alongside saved addresses and cards. These permissions describe your agent's access; checkout still determines whether a purchase can proceed. Signing out clears local access and attempts to revoke this device's sign-in with Shop.
Control when a card is retrieved
Browser-checkout spend requests now separate checking approval from retrieving a card. Use shop spend-request get <id> for status, then add --include card --wait 90 to wait for approval and retrieve the issued card. Add --output-file <path> for a private handoff without printing the card. Updated guidance also separates the merchant's purchase outcome from recording it with Shop: a reporting failure does not mean the purchase failed.
Install and troubleshoot more reliably
Installed skills now include a matching copy of Shop, removing their dependency on PATH. Run shop doctor to check your installation, skills, sign-in state and connection settings without exposing credentials; add --dry-run for local checks without network access. This release also refreshes plugin presentation across agent directories and adds compressed-response support to the Node client.
Upgrading
- Replace
--activitywith--status in_progress|allfor order searches. - Request cards explicitly with
--include card. Issued cards now usecardinstead ofinstrument; private handoff files use{spend_request_id,card}. - Rerun
shop skill --installafter upgrading to refresh installed skills and their bundled copies of Shop. The installer replaces symlinks at filenames it writes. - Use
SHOP_MCP_URLinstead of the removed--urlflag for custom endpoints.
