Installation Guide for Django Application with Chart.js Integration

Prerequisites:

• Python installed (version 3.6 or later)
• Django installed (install using pip install django)
• Internet connection for downloading dependencies

Steps:

1. Download and Extract the Zip File:

   • Download the provided zip file containing HTML and Python files.
   • Extract the contents to your desired location on your machine.

2. Navigate to the Project Directory:

   • Open a terminal or command prompt.

   • Use the cd command to navigate to the directory where you extracted the zip file.

     cd /path/to/your/project/directory

3. Install Dependencies:

   • Ensure that your virtual environment is activated (create one if not already done).
   • Run the following command to install Django and other dependencies:

   • Run the following commands to apply database migrations:

     python manage.py makemigrations
     python manage.py migrate

5. Run the Django Development Server:

   • Start the Django development server with the following command:

     python manage.py runserver

   • This will start the development server, and you should see output indicating that the server is running.

6. Access the Application:

   • Open your web browser and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8000/ or http://localhost:8000/.

7. Explore the Application:

   • Explore the Django application and its integrated Chart.js features.
   • Navigate to the different pages and visualize the data using Chart.js.

8. Shutdown the Development Server:

   • To stop the development server, go to the terminal where it's running and press Ctrl + C.
