0.8.0 · Vetrina
Vetrina is Italian for shop window: the page you open every day, redrawn so that what matters is the first thing you see.
- A new Network card in the Home Assistant style: the state of the network at a glance, a tile that rotates between latency, gateway, Internet connection and what Vedetta knows, a full-width search and one scan button. Light and dark.
- Devices found, where you look. The list opens inside the Network card, with plain icon buttons and the full MAC address.
- A tidier device card. Each fact appears once, Customize card and Ignore sit in a three-dots menu, and the pop-ups behind the (i) are compact.
- Foldable groups. Each group closes from its heading, and Vedetta remembers what you closed.
- An update tells you. A red dot on the menu button shows when a new version is available.
- You decide what leaves your network. Three switches in the Configuration tab, all on by default: the public IP check, the path to the Internet and the update of the manufacturer list. A function that is off sends nothing.
- A simpler Configuration tab. Short names and descriptions in English, Italian and Czech, the log level first, and no language option: the page follows Home Assistant, and each person picks theirs in the menu. If you had set options that are gone, Home Assistant may write a one-line warning in the log: nothing else changes.
- An accurate MQTT tile. It counts only what you share and follows the broker as it changes.
- Smaller things: the menu shows how many devices are ignored, the buttons share one size, the pause window is narrower.
- Fixed: the scan button stretching at a click, a grey box when tapping on a phone, the space under the card, the three taps on the logo for the debug mode, and the badge of the advanced search.
Thank you to everyone who shared an export: real networks made this release possible.
