PartWall is not really physical and used for testing purposes. Making irregular field boundary is a huge undertaking in an electromagnetic PIC code. Probably many months of work |

For 'PartWall' module, it can generate a wall inside the research domain, which can reflect, remove, stop or thermalize particles. I have read the source codes about this module but had a question. It seems to set a inner boundary for particles but how about the boundary for field? If the wall is only the boundary for particles, then I suspect that it is not physically feasible. In my opinion, you need to set a boundary in the position of wall for field at the same time.
Smilei can't simulate irregular domain so I want to develop this module to realise it. But the field boundary is a big question to simulate physically.
