You can currently get velocity via
GetAbsVelocityGetLocalVelocityand set velocity viaTeleport.But there's nothing for getting/setting angular velocity, which would have its uses for a lot of physics-based stuff.
For example, you'd want to spawn some debris-pieces and give them a randomized spin for flair.
Community maps also rely on physics to move stuff around, such as vehicles.
phys_thrusterhas been the main way to go about this, but having the ability to set angular velocity on stuff without relying on pre-positioned entities would still be great.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
