0.2.0

This is a small update. When you play in the browser, there is now a link back to the arcade hall, so you can return to the other games without leaving the page by hand. The story, places and endings are unchanged.

Changes

  • Browser play: updated the bundled text-adventure kit, which adds a link back to the arcade hall (#32)
  • Reliability: added test coverage for the menu choices no full playthrough exercises, such as looking around, sitting up with Teo, going back to full rations and the epilogue. Their behaviour is unchanged (#30)

Version

0.1.1 → 0.2.0 — MINOR. Mechanical floor from comparing the save schemas, the save format, the save code, the kit pin and new source files: MINOR.
Judgment: The only change that can reach players is the bump of the pinned text-adventure kit (tak) to 86a6164, which adds a link from the browser version back to the arcade hall. That is new navigation, not a change to existing commands, controls, file locations or the save format, and nothing in the diff touches scenes, state or saves. The other changes are new tests and a CI runner pin, which change no behaviour. The minor floor fits, and nothing justifies going higher.

  • minor: tak pin in requirements.txt: 9749869783ebd20959a2365f29812675a0b0d053 → 86a6164e47e424b5340677d8fa0f689ab005417b

Verification

Verified before publication; this tag points at the exact commit that was verified.

  • CI checks on this exact commit, all green: test (3.8), test (3.12), docker.
  • Save format: SAVE_VERSION 1 → 1; 1 save schema(s) 0.1.1 shipped are all still in schemas/.
  • save-compatibility gate run: saves written by 0.1.1 were read by this release twice with every file byte-identical, and a new save was added beside them without touching them (11 assertions passed).

What the checks cover: python-release-gates.
