[FEATURE] automatically pause youtube videos when app is in background or device is locked

Describe your feature request
Recently our app was declined by Google because the embedded YT videos do not stop playing after the app is moved to background or the device is locked and this violates the YT Community Guidelines. I'd say this package should take care of this directly or at least provide an easier way to handle pausing/playing embedded videos other than having to override the whole rendering part

Can you tell us how you use youtube video in the first place? I don't think there is anything in particular that we offer to play YouTube videos. Ar eyou using video tags directly maybe?

I'd imagine the OP is using an iframe tag for YouTube. Perhaps consider filing a bug under the flutter_webview package? This certainly isn't an issue our package could solve. If using a video tag, it's the same story, but with the chewie plugin.
