No, 551 chip is widely used and supported. Did you check all 256 IDs? Sometimes, lights hide even after 100... In case you are, check settings - you may have lights off or dimmed at max; in this case it will stay black even if you found it. |

Hi T-Troll, thanks for the great tool.
I am requesting support for the Alienware x16 laptop.
Device ID: VID_187C/PID_0551
Symptoms: The device is detected as "Alienware AW-ELC", but it shows "0 lights".
I have already checked for active background processes (AWCC is closed), and I tried manual mapping, but no lights are detected/assignable. It seems the controller communication is not fully supported for this specific PID.
Let me know if you need any logs or extra info from my side to help with the implementation. Thank you!
