Data lost after update

I have a docker-compose setup with tandoor. While I have persistent volumes, my data is always lost when upgrading tandoor. Is this behaviour normal or how could it be fixed?

this is definitely not normal. Please verify your configuration, there must be something about your postgres database that is not persisted or your system might not be connecting to the pg database and using the unpersisted sqlite
