Settings & Administration

GyroidVault gives you full control over who has access to your library and how the system communicates. You can find these options in the Settings menu (assuming you are logged in as an administrator).

User Management

By default, GyroidVault is a private vault. You can create additional user accounts if you want to share access with family members or friends.

• Go to the Users section in the settings.
• You can add new users and give them their own login credentials.
• This is great if multiple people in your household use the 3D printer and need access to the library.

Public Sharing

Instead of opening up your entire vault, GyroidVault allows you to securely share specific parts of your library with others.

• You can generate a unique, shareable link for a specific collection or model.
• Anyone with the link can view and download the shared files, but they cannot browse the rest of your private library.
• Public visitors always have read-only access. They cannot edit tags, delete files, or change your settings.

SMTP (Email) Settings

GyroidVault can send email notifications (like password resets or system alerts). To enable this, you need to configure your SMTP server details.

• Head to the SMTP Settings panel.
• Enter your email provider's SMTP host (e.g., smtp.gmail.com), port (usually 587 or 465), and your credentials.
• You can use standard email providers, or your own self-hosted mail server if you're running one.
