Detect new/modified fields

I may have missed a command or it may not be built in but is it possible to get this mod to detect a modified field boundary? I have increased the size of a field and its not detecting that additional area or showing it on the soil layers map overlay

I'd imagine the data is coming from land ID rather than the field area and this may be why new or modified fields won't be updated in the display?
