Remote Access

The app is primarily built as a local-first app, but repeated feature requests have made me rethink that slightly. There is no "easy" answer to remote access, you can set up a VPN server inside your network and the app will work just fine, but other solutions rely on a method of relaying the traffic from inside your network to something the app can reach when away from your network.

There are some experimental features which allow remote access, these are considered not only experimental but also advanced features - they need specific setup to get working. The instructions provide details of how to set them up, but these are not really within the core scope of the app so support requests are best directed to the respective platforms - the app works if the platform is configured correctly.
