Added

  • Pause menu: the small arrow button right of Mods opens the update manager there too.
  • Tour: after an update a short tour asks on the title screen, then points at what is new in your version right
where it is, with Back, Next and Skip; Tour in the update manager plays it again any time.
  • Tour: on an older version it first asks you to update, with an Update button.
  • Tour: says "Nothing to show in this version" when a version brings nothing to point at.
  • Update manager: one window with three pages, Updates, Feedback and Tour; switch with the sidebar, Ctrl+Tab or
    the number keys.
  • Update manager: marks in the sidebar: the download's progress, a dot while a newer version is out, a dot while
    the tour has something new.
  • Update manager: click your version at the top to copy it, with the Minecraft and NeoForge versions.
  • Feedback: one page with tabs for a bug, an idea and the ones you sent (with how many); Bug and Idea have Clear
(asks once more), Ctrl+Enter sends, and a note when the draft is saved.
  • Feedback → Sent: Refresh, and click a report to open it on GitHub.
  • Ability guide: a move that only works with another hangs under it, and its details name the key it shares.
  • Ability guide: each mode says how you get in, how you get out, what you can't use there and what is good to
    know.
  • Thor: after a grab you pick how it ends within 1.5 seconds: left click punches, right click throws, the scroll
wheel slams its head into the ground; pick nothing and it is picked at random. A prompt shows the keys.
  • Doctor Octopus: four corner marks round the crosshair show which tentacles are free, holding something, or
    walking and busy.
  • Players thrown limp: a blow or blast that throws a player hard knocks them down limp for at most 1.5 seconds,
as it does creatures; never in creative, riding, gliding, flying, asleep, in water or lava, or from your own blast.
    A world setting.
  • Players thrown limp: still in the air when it ends, they fall on as themselves, or fly on if it knocked them
    out of their flight.
  • Thor: Grab-Dash Dive catches players too, flying ones as well: they hang limp in his fist on the way down.
  • Green Lantern: holding towards Inferno or Fire Vortex fills a ring round the crosshair, as the beam does.
  • Test fight: the host or an operator crouches and holds the scroll wheel on a creature built like a person for
3 seconds: a filmed fight plays out, ending in a roundhouse kick that throws it limp.

Changed

  • Update manager: Updates now lists the last ten versions with their notes (a newer one with everything new since
yours): Update to or Use switches to the one you pick (the game quits), Update on quit puts a newer one in when you
close the game, Check for updates looks again.
  • Update screens: the popup, the version-mismatch screen and the bug report screens share the update manager's
    cleaner look.
  • Tour: clearer words, such as "2 more once you pick a character".
  • Ability panel: always in the bottom right corner beside the hotbar, at every GUI scale, going smaller rather
than moving; it fades in slower and out faster, and subtitles go up over it.
  • HUD: nothing overlaps any more: gauges, rings and their words, the panel, the update popup and the tour's notes
move aside for each other, for effect icons and for boss bars.
  • Kill confirm: the sound is louder, clearer and punchier.
  • Ability guide: "Off meanwhile" is gone; its sections say plainly what works where.
  • Thor: Mjolnir is bigger and sits right in his fist, in first and third person.
  • Thor: Mjolnir flies head first when thrown, without spinning.
  • Thor: his blows are a little slower so each one reads, and no fist passes through his own head or chest.
  • Thor: his kicks are clearly kicks: knee drawn up first, leg driven out, knee drawn back before the foot lands.
  • Thor: a grabbed creature hangs firmly by the throat in his fist instead of limp.
  • Thor: Mjolnir on his belt is smaller, as in God of War: its handle reaches down his thigh.
  • Hands and feet: in poses (the mech's build, getting up, and more) wrists and ankles stay within what a real one
    can do.
  • Green Lantern: the dome is built of solid hard-light plates: it grows out of the ring, ripples where it is hit
and breaks apart into tumbling plates.
  • Green Lantern: the beam's LOCKED sign is a clear pill with a padlock and the key that unlocks it.
  • Green Lantern: the flamethrower's gun no longer glows while you hold a button; the ring round the crosshair
    shows it instead.
  • Mech: striking a blow while walking or running, it stops within a few steps, its trailing foot stepping up.

Removed

  • Update manager: What's new & versions, Report a bug and Suggest an idea are no longer pages of their own (see
    Updates and Feedback).

Fixed

  • Tour: pressing Next without doing anything no longer makes it vanish.
  • Green Lantern: his legs no longer fold up during the arrival.
  • Thunderclap: the body no longer rocks back from the shock before the hands meet.
  • Developer test hand: its fingers curl and open one after another, no longer all curled until their turn.
  • Stamina bar: hidden with F1, like the rest of the screen.
  • Held creatures: blows no longer wear them out and drop them out of a power's hold.
  • Thor: Mjolnir no longer has see-through pixels; every model is now checked so none can come back.
  • Mech: no longer gets stuck, or walks on air, after climbing onto a ledge or platform.
  • Mech: its legs no longer trail behind and stretch, and its feet keep in step, when it strikes on the move.
  • Filmed moments: your own first-person arms and hammer no longer show in them.
