This page outlines known issues and changes with different PCB Revisions

Check the Issues Log for the most up to date information.

There are three PCBs:

• Panel
• Front (i.e. pots and SD Card)
• Back (i.e power and Teensy)

Radio Music Panel Rev 1

• Works well
• Printing could be higher resolution - above 200dpi (because you're printing a bitmap, not a greyscale, resolution needs to be higher than you might expect)
• Labelling could possibly be spaced slightly better
• Reconsidering wording 'Tune' vs 'Station'

Radio Music Front PCB Rev 1

(not applicable to Thonk Red PCBs mistakenly labeled "Rev 1")

• Works well apart from one fatal error:
  • Ground Error on R21 and R10 - must be fixed when building. Details
• These errors are not critical
  • SD Card outline is slightly off, but buildable without problems
  • Value changes: R10=47k, R21=47k, R9=22k, R20=22k to reduce noise on CV inputs when not in use
  • Diodes mislabelled, should be BAT42 (but other Schottky diodes should work)
  • With 1k current limiting resistors, the LEDs are a little bit too bright for my taste; try 1.5k

Radio Music Back PCB Rev 1

• Works well with one fatal error:
  • 78L05 Orientation is wrong and should be reversed. Triple check the datasheet before installing the voltage regulator
• Other Rev1 errors are not critical
