JKNet 0.12.0 brings player identity and community connections into one release.

  • Player pages. Create an avatar, add personal details, links and works, show badges and communities, and choose who can see each section.
  • Invitations and teachers. Invite friends to JKNet with your own link and acknowledge teachers and students. Play the invitation history on the map to watch it grow day by day.
  • Maps. The Maps screen draws invitations, teachers and communities as a star chart: players glow, connections run as beams of light, and communities and their servers become planets. Activity stays readable from small groups to busy networks.
  • Character showcase. Present characters with 3D previews and poses, screenshots, demos and videos. JKNet finds missing resources and installs the supported ones from the JKNet library and JKHub.
  • Community badges. Communities create and award their own badges. Players choose which awards appear on their page and beside their name.
  • Communities without a server. Create a community with just a name and add servers later. Organizers can change a server's game, address and port, and a new address is confirmed again with a code in the server name.
  • Feedback and administration. The Changelog item is now Feedback. Follow the public roadmap, like the cards that matter to you and get a notice when a task is done, and read the release history on the Changelog tab. Players whom the JKNet administrator trusts add their own ideas and bug reports to the roadmap. Owner tools cover reports, avatar restrictions, badges and user access.
  • Languages. The Edit, Enable and Apply labels in the library and player profile menus, the pk3 editor and the bundle description editor are translated into every interface language.
  • Internet only hosting fix. With Internet only chosen on Play with friends, the host's game waited forever while connecting to its own server. The game now joins right away. Friends who join through the JKNet relay and the modes with the local network work as before.

Player pages and showcases are also available in the web app.

Download JKNet_0.12.0_x64-setup.exe for Windows x64 or use the built-in update check. Existing settings, clients, profiles, media and server data are kept. Playing requires your original Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast files; the installer does not include them.
