When a Project is open, the Editor is always available. It supports Syntax Highlighting where possible for many general languages, like JSON, as well as language features for select languages.

Closing a Tab You can close a tab by clicking the X.

Dock Panels

Dock Panels are toggle-able views for different purposes, which can appear on the Left, Right or Bottom of the window. For Modpacks, Tritium includes dock panels for:

  • Project Files
  • Viewing Log Files
  • Browsing Minecraft game content
  • Editing Project Details
  • Managing installed Mods
  • Notifications

Menu Bar

The Project View includes a standard Menu Bar like many other programs. For Modpacks, this comes with custom buttons for:

  • Launching the game
  • Stop and Rerun
  • Server Reload
  • Stop
  • Force Stop

By default, Tritium will Force Stop the game when selected, unless the Companion Mod is installed. With it, Tritium sends a signal to the Mod to shut down Minecraft safely, which prevents several forms of save corruption. But even if installed, you can still force stop the game by holding shift when selecting Stop.
