Cover state unknown

The cover state is unknown so it doesn't let me open the menu of the cover to control it. But if I control it from ha it show for little time the status of the cover( close or open) then I can see the menu from quickbars and I can open the cover menu in quickbars and control the cover. How do I make quickbars ignore the unknown state of the cover and let me see the menu and control it?

Please reply with a picture of the cover entity's attributes.
Go to HA -> Settings -> Developer Tools -> States -> Set State -> choose your cover and take a picture of the attributes.

It sounds like it's not a standard cover entity, and could be fixed with some HA workarounds.
