Use the PowerShell command above, or download Spotify Desktop from the official Spotify website.
- Install Spotify Desktop.
- Sign in with your Spotify account.
- Open settings and review audio quality, cache, startup, and device options.
- Restart the app after changing important settings.
- Keep a short note of any local changes you make.
Note: Some Spotify features depend on your account plan, region, device, and the official desktop client.
Restart Windows, reinstall Spotify Desktop, and check whether antivirus or firewall rules are blocking the app.
Open Spotify settings and review streaming quality, download quality, volume normalization, and output device settings.
Make sure both devices are on the same network, restart Spotify on both devices, and check firewall rules.
Confirm your password, account status, VPN or proxy settings, and system time.
