⏰ RTC Pins

GPIO 1, 2, 4–21 can wake the ESP32-S3 from deep sleep. Useful for:

• Power button PIN_SW1
• Mode button PIN_SW2
• Interrupts like PIN_INT from a real-time clock

🎙️ Analog Input

GPIO 1, 2, 4–10 are usable as analog inputs. For example:

• PIN_LDR for photocell signals
• PIN_MIC for microphone signals

⚠️ Avoid Strapping Pins

GPIO 0, 3, 45, 46 have bootstrapping functions. Avoid connecting these to inputs that may float or pull them during boot.

⚡ Power Notes

• VUSB: Power input pin, supports 1.5 V to 6.0 V
• GND: Ground reference
• 3V3: Logic-level power output for peripherals (e.g. level shifters)

⚠️ Note for XIAO ESP32S3 users: Please avoid using GPIO4 (D3) for buttons. This specific pin appears to have hardware behavior that causes ghost inputs or false readings. Stick to other pins if possible. #251 (comment)

Using other pins for Analog Input is not recommended (ADC2 pins cannot be used when Wi-Fi is enabled).

• I have made a small PCB. It fits perfectly on to the bottom of the frame side wall:
