Getting Started

Sketch.mp3 edited this page Jul 28, 2026 · 1 revision

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later
  • A Discord account that is an owner, manager, or linked team member of an approved Legends Alley community, or an Alley staff account

Install

  1. Download Booth-Manager-Setup-<version>.exe from the Releases page.
  2. Run it. The installer is one click and starts the app when it finishes.
  3. Updates are automatic afterward: the app downloads new versions in the background and asks you to restart to install them.

  1. Press the sign in button. Your browser opens a Discord authorization page.
  2. Approve it. The browser hands control back to the app, and your community name, VRChat group ID, and role appear in the app shell.
  3. If sign in is refused, your Discord account is not linked to an approved community and is not staff. See Troubleshooting and FAQ.

Settings

  • UI sounds: clicks and success chimes.
  • Ping sound: plays a chime when someone @mentions you in team chat.
  • Run in tray: closing the window keeps Booth Manager in the system tray so peer file sharing stays online.
  • Start with Windows: launches Booth Manager minimized to the tray when you sign in to Windows.

The Settings page also shows your installed version at the bottom.
