v0.4.2 — fix wake-then-resleep (buffered sleep packets)
Fixed
- PC no longer goes straight back to sleep after waking. The plugin used to send the reversed-MAC sleep packet 3× for redundancy; the extra packets were buffered through the suspend transition and replayed by sleep-on-lan on resume, immediately re-sleeping the host regardless of wake source (WOL, controller, mouse). Sleep is now sent exactly once — the host NIC is awake at that point, so redundancy isn't needed. See SR-G/sleep-on-lan#22.
Changed
- Wake burst stretched: 8 packets over ~5 s (was 3 over 0.6 s). Broadcast delivery to a sleeping wired NIC through a client-isolating router is flaky; the longer window makes wake reliable.
Recommended host-side hardening
Download the attached sol.json and drop it next to sol.exe on the host PC (then restart the SleepOnLAN scheduled task or reboot). It enables AvoidDualUDPSending, so duplicate sleep packets can never re-sleep the PC, whatever the sender does.
