dotSYSTEMX 1.11.0-alpha.7 — Clean public template

The current source distribution now keeps reusable project records, command tools, published PDFs and static image references together, while film production and authoring material are maintained separately. The README and manual introduce The Guided Folder, the new animated walkthrough.

Alpha · MIT · use at your own risk. Pin a reviewed release, retain recoverable backups and validate adoption in your project. This release adds no runtime capability, schema, agent authority or automatic update behavior.

Changes

  • Remove 26 backed-up production companion and optional authoring files from the current source tree, including the retired authoring component's test module. All 12 runtime test modules remain.
  • Add scoped ignore rules for future movie, audio, Blender, caption and production outputs. Adopters' portable ignore policy is unchanged.
  • Refresh the professional README, media index and manual links. Retain the four system posters, other static references, white paper, licensing and protected schema/default records.
  • Preserve project-owned files and older cached defaults during managed updates. Historical releases remain intact.

Verification

The final commit matches the reviewed candidate byte for byte. Python 3.9.6 and 3.14.5 each ran 302 tests: 297 passed, five skipped, no failures or errors. These runs were on macOS arm64; the five skips need a case-sensitive filesystem. No new Windows/Linux result is claimed.

Manifest validation checked 237 portable files and 150 Markdown documents. All 798 applicable local references and 43 ignore-policy cases passed. The 26-command local lifecycle check verified install, preview, update, logged removal and exact restore, preserving 239 adopted files and 237 older cached defaults.

Eight additional commands exercised the actual pushed tag: the correct pin passed preview, install, status and offline validation; a deliberately wrong pin failed with the explicit digest diagnostic and exit 2 before any project mutation. All 237 selected cached files matched the committed release.

Film and manual

The Guided Folder video preview

Watch the 4K film on YouTube · Captioned native X video · Manual · Four original system maps

Media edition 5.0 demonstrates implemented alpha.6 behavior. Its examples are educational; token illustrations count constructed inputs and do not establish universal billing, speed or quality savings. The YouTube preview image is a provider-derived preview, while the source film is native 4K. Chapter links and the manual's distinct poster index do not control YouTube's generated chapter-card images.

GitHub Actions remains disabled. No workflow is introduced. Validation is bounded evidence, not production certification.
