Just a thought - doesn't the Xbox 360 Guide have this functionality with Guide/Xbox -> X?
A faint memory tells me it does
Not when a dvd is inside the tray. Last resort would be adding an option to the Nova Plugin to eject/close the dvd tray, but this is not the scope of my PR. |
You're right so I'll apply this change. Thanks Co-authored-by: Swizzy <swizzy@xeupd.com>

Simple script; All it does is opening and closing the dvd tray.
I wrote this just because this functionality was seemingly missing from the Aurora Dashboard itself.
I called it "_DVD Eject" because it's the only way to make this rather unconvenient way of opening and closing the dvd tray somewhat more bearable (Edit 1: And because that's what was recommended to me in this PR, previously I called it "A DVD Eject".)
I aimed for a "least amount of clicks" approach, where one should only click the back button -> dpad/left joystick down -> A -> A.
If I called it "DVD Eject", a few more clicks would be necessary.
I don't know how far scripting for the Aurora Dashboard allows, but afaik, scripting does not allow the dashboard itself to behave fundamentally different, otherwise I would've scripted it in such a way where holding A or B on the Aurora Dashboard would suffice to eject/close the dvd tray, perfectly aligning with X (hold) Launch and Y (hold) Details.
If the dashboard is actually able to be scripted in such a way, please point me to potential examples or something that I could work with.
Thank you very much.
