Feat every X levels

Would it be possible to create an optional patch that edits the classes so that they have more than 1 feat every 4 levels? Like the Feat every even level on modio? It'd let us play around with the feats that the mod adds, and we could take more suboptimal but fun feats on higher difficulties instead of going for more optimal ones. I tried using the existing mod, but it doesn't work on any class, including vanilla classes.
