Unfortunately we need to remove the code of conduct because they do not reliably respond to our link checker, which is important to us for maintenance. It is causing a large number of build failures. For example:

✗ [ERR] https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/3/0/ | Failed: Network error: Connection reset by peer (os error 104)

This has happened over numerous weeks, and most recently here and over a month ago here
