Changes

  • Install the Linux executable under ~/.local/opt/xipu-ai-bridge and store settings and the local API key separately under $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/xipu-ai-bridge (or ~/.config/xipu-ai-bridge).
  • Add a Linux --prefix option to choose the parent directory for the executable. Use the same prefix when upgrading or uninstalling.

Upgrading on Linux

Unregister the existing host using the old executable before installing this version. Settings and the API key in the old XIPU AI Bridge directory are not migrated. Configure the new installation and update clients to use its API key. See the installation guide.

Install

Download the native archive for your operating system and CPU and xipu-bridge-extension.zip, extract them, and follow INSTALL.md. Prebuilt binaries are not Developer ID or Authenticode signed, or Apple notarized; your OS may warn or block execution.
