Gain changes during the night

Hi Guys
This is very odd, at some points of the night i have noticed recently the gain setting drops fro 1000 to 100 any idea what this could be as i cant see any where to change this?
I am using the altair GPCam 178colour cameraThanks

It sounds like you are going into Moon Mode which has a special gain setting when the moon is above the horizon and greater than a certain phase.

The Moon Mode gain is on the Camera Tab. The Moon Mode parameters are on the Location tab (at the bottom).
