Merge options can come in useful (ex.: when there are conflicts between two PRs). This commit adds the code for them, initially just supporting the 'strategy-option'.

I'd prefer if we don't need this. I think it was originally needed to kind of resolve upstream merge conflicts, but it's better to resolve those upstream. |
