ADC Sample limit

I posted to the adafruit forums but I thought this might be the more appropriate venue.

I've been taking analog samples from an electret microphone and can't ever take more than 1020 samples before whatever python script I'm running exits without an error message. I don't even need to save the samples or output them, just access the ADC reading function.

Thanks for filing this, along with the detailed report. This should be fairly easy to replicate, so I'll work on this (have one other ADC issue that can cause segfaults as well) shortly here.

Sorry, I realized that this is a duplicate bug report (as you mentioned), Segfault after many analog reads. To give you more information,

I'm on Debian Wheezy 7.1, 3.8.13-bone20. The build was downloaded from armhf.com.
