* rework the make command to be the same on all platforms. * clean up the approach taken to prebuilt external modules, and make it platform-independent, relying on `pip` to select the right architecture * remove the version restrictions on pyldap and PyYAML, which are unnecessary. * update the README with full and correct build instructions. * rework the README so it doesn't duplicate the docs but instead refers to them. * reorganize the README so the build instructions come at the end.
prepare for 2.2rc2 build
Doc updates for the 2.2rc2 release (English-only, to be localized). Fixes #239, and also fixes #229. Thanks, @phil-levy!
