Engineering Updates

TypeScript Bindings & SLIM v1.4: Discussion on the upcoming TypeScript bindings and the status of finalizing the UniFFI version alignments for C# to unblock the v1.4 release.

Upcoming Performance Improvements: Review of the performance enhancements slated for the next release, including gating OpenTelemetry (OTel) tracing behind a compile-time feature flag and implementing lightweight atomic counters for metrics.

Multicluster Tests: Update on the ongoing work, testing strategies, and next steps for the multicluster deployment scenarios.
Benchmarking Testbed: Initial discussion on architecting a multi-process benchmarking tool to accurately measure SLIM's true network throughput (similar to nats-bench).

SLIM v2 Roadmap (WebSockets/Browser Support): Finalizing the architectural decision regarding MLS cipher compatibility. Discussion on whether to implement a cipher negotiation protocol or change the default cipher to unblock Wasm/browser support, and how to group these breaking changes into a v2 release.

Shadi CLI & Sandbox Runtime: Status update on crate publication, package manager distribution (Brew/Winget), and the integration of the A2A Rust SDK into the Shadi local environment.
