RIPPS2 Media Studio for Windows, ready to run: download RIPPS2-Media-Studio.zip, unzip it anywhere and double-click RIPPS2 Media Studio.exe. No install, no Python.

  • Turns any sound or song into RIPPS2's menu sounds and music, and renders your own PS2's menu sounds and music from your BIOS dump.
  • Turns any video (a phone's MP4 included) into the AVI RIPPS2's Memory Files plays: XviD with MP3 sound, 640 x 480 and 30 fps at most.
  • Everything lands in output/AUDIO and output/MEDIA beside the .exe.

How to use it: tools/media-studio. This page is the studio's own; RIPPS2 itself is on the latest release.

Built from be1ba67 on 2026-11-01. ffmpeg 8.1.1 (Gyan Doshi's essentials build, GPL-3.0) rides along unchanged as a separate program, with its licence in the zip.
