Current Options for Alerting on Kargo Promotion Failures

We’re looking for a way to receive notifications when a Kargo promotion fails, ideally via Slack or another external system.

Has this feature already been released? If not, what’s the recommended approach for handling failed promotions today?

I’m aware of the http promotion step, but since it only executes if the promotion succeeds up to that point, it won’t help in the case of earlier failures. Looking for guidance on how to reliably detect and react to failed promotions in real time.

#3228 was closed in favor of #3639

Until that's resolved, Promotions simply fail at the first step that fails.

I think should use ArgoEvents that subscribe on AnalysisRun for status Error/Failurre then trigger workflow
