youtube2mp3

This is a Python program that allows you to convert youtube videos to mp3 by sending a youtube link to your email. This program monitors that inbox and will convert the videos and email them back.

Youtube-dl Download and Installation

[curl]

To install it right away for all UNIX users (Linux, OS X, etc.), type:

sudo curl -L https://yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl -o /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl

sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl

[wget]

If you do not have curl, you can alternatively use a recent wget:

sudo wget https://yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl

sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
