YASB won't open unless run as administrator

As title says - I have to run YASB as administrator to get it started. Simply opening it doesn't do anything.
Couldn't find any answers for why.

Requiring admin also renders the autostart feature useless.

Is it a bug?

I have reinstalled multiple times to no effect.

No, it's not a bug. Something is probably wrong on your side. YASB should not be run as administrator.
How did you install YASB?
Clean the log file, start YASB as a normal user, and show me the log.

Current installation is the v2.0.2 update. I downloaded and installed 'yasb-2.0.2-x64.msi'

Well, as you can see, YASB does not have permission to access your user folder: [Errno 13] Permission denied: .... You will need to fix that. That's not something that is a problem on our side.

I'm not very knowledgeable about all this, sorry. I'll look up how to do that, thanks for identifying the issue!

I don't know why this happened. Maybe after installation your first run was as admin and YASB created config files with admin privileges, and then you could not access them as a normal user. This is just a theory. You can try deleting all those files from your user's config folder and run YASB as a normal user. There is no reason to run YASB as admin.

I don't get it either. But it's always been like that since the very first installation. It would never open, but I remembered learning a trick that running as admin can force apps to open.

I finally figured out how to edit the permissions, so I got it working without admin now!
Just had to add my user under the security tab in properties of styles.css, enable full control, and that was all.
