I installed it via Heroic Launcher until an anime team launcher is available. Seems to be working fine at the moment

I could be wrong but this seems to be an issue with your prefix. I would suggest backing up the game files and delete the prefix via reinstall the HoyoPlay Launcher again via the heroic launcher. If you need help I can give you my discord name.

the main problem isn't the prefix but rather the graphics card. probably because my gpu (GeForce GT 750M) or driver (470 technicly 418) is old that is why its not working. it throws the "Failed to initialize player" when i selected use dedicated graphics card, then corrupts the prefix too because later on game won't work and i have to install again.

Hello, looks like my gpu is not the only problem.

after a few days of not playing the game it suddenly won't work; even throwing the same error as last time but i made sure the option "use dedicated graphics card" is disabled. (Although this might happend because of the new version found from installing zzz. like there is a new .exe for zzz installation.)

another thing i did is that i set the default settings with "use dedicated graphics card" enabled. and first time i did that it worked but then it also stoped working.
