What is Python πŸš€ Bootstrap?

Creating Python projects by hand can be difficult and complex.

How do you structure your project? Which package manager to use? And what about build scripts?

That's where Python πŸš€ Bootstrap comes into play.

Python πŸš€ Bootstrap helps you set up a new Python project in seconds.

From setup.py to test module, from .gitignore to Make, Python πŸš€ Bootstrap builds everything for you.

Just follow the setup wizard, and you'll get a fully-working Python 3 project in less than a minute.

How to Use?

Simply copy start.py into your project directory and execute with Python:

Windows:

(Invoke-WebRequest -Uri https://github.com/andrejanesic/Python-Bootstrap/start.py -UseBasicParsing).Content | python -

Follow the provided steps to complete your project setup.
