OpenVPN installer script breaks VPN connectivity on Ubuntu 24.04 and Amazon Linux 2023

When running the openvpn-install.sh script on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS or Amazon Linux 2023, the script completes without errors, but after connecting with a client:

• VPN connection establishes, but internet access breaks
• Cannot reach private resources in the VPC (e.g., RDS instances)
• Works as expected on Ubuntu 22.04

Steps to Reproduce:

• Launch an EC2 instance with Ubuntu 24.04 or Amazon Linux 2023
• Download and run the script as mentioned in the readme.md
• Connect a client using the generated .ovpn file
• Attempt to access the internet or internal network resources

Expected Behavior:

• VPN connects successfully
• Internet and private network access work

Observed Behavior:

• VPN connects but no internet access
• Cannot reach private IPs (e.g., 10.x.x.x RDS instances)

Environment:

1. Ubuntu 24.04 LTS / Amazon Linux 2023
2. OpenVPN installer version: latest from master
3. EC2 instance type: t3.micro
4. VPN clients tested: Windows OpenVPN client

Notes:

• Script works fine on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
• Likely related to changes in package paths, systemd units, or iptables/NFTables differences on newer distributions

Suggested Action:

• Update the installer script to support Ubuntu 24.04 and Amazon Linux 2023, or at least detect unsupported OS versions and warn the user.
• Update the documentation (README.md) to explicitly mention which OS versions the script has been tested on and which are not supported.
