Pin columns to right?

I have a requirement to pin a column to both the right and left of the grid. I'm hoping I can get some insight on the best way to implement that.

I've got a basic version of this running right now.

There's still an issue with the scrolling columns (the space for the right pinned column isn't being accounted for,) but it's pretty close to what I need it to do.

right now I'm adding pinRight to the colDefs

      $scope.gridOptions = {
          data: 'myData',
          enablePinning: true,
          columnDefs: [{ field: "name", width: 120, pinned: true },
                      { field: "age", width: 120 },
                      { field: "birthday", width: 120 },
                      { field: "salary", width: 120, pinRight : true, pinned: true }]
      };

I'd love some feedback on the implementation so far. I could hack this sort of thing in a few different ways but I'd like to play nice with Angular and ng-grid, so if this implementation isn't optimal I'm happy to hear about it.

As of right now, I've satisfied my requirement, which is to create a configurable (not clickable- you can see I suppressed the pins) pinned column on the right. If this is of interest I'm happy to go through the effort of getting clicks to work (they don't right now.)

I haven't looked at doing so, to be honest. I got this to the point where it fulfilled my requirement and then I let it sit. I've been spending my time on the project in the issue queue. I'd like to get to doing some coding :)

This still not working, i need to pin the last column in my grid, why this is not a feature? I can't understand why this is not implemented..
I tried the @roblarsen it almost fix my problem, it pinned the right column but the footerTemplate stop working (grid total item counter and pagination).

There's a simple reason this is not a feature: you haven't coded it and submitted it as a pull request, and nobody else seems to want it as much as you do.

You could try upgrading to ui-grid 3.0, which does have pinning as a feature.
