Description

Stepper does not have animation when advancing or going back

Reproduction

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click next or back.
2. Observe the steps do not smoothly slide in and out, they just switch instantly.

Expected Behavior

Steps slide on and off screen when advancing or going back.

Actual Behavior

Steps switch instantly.

• Angular: 20
• CDK/Material: 20
• Browser(s): Chrome
• Operating System (e.g. Windows, macOS, Ubuntu): Windows

I see the enter animation in your example and we never had an exit animation for the stepper.
