I haven't done an in-depth comparison. One philosophical difference is that Kiro and SpecKit try to be as autonomous as possible. I'll add to my todo list. I hadn't even heard of BearClaude! |

Salam, I was curious whether you guys have compared the SP(IDE)R protocol against other spec-driven "agents" such as Kiro, Spec Kit, or BearClaude. Any particular differences that you've noticed? Pros/cons? Output quality? Is one consuming more/less tokens?
I was surprised that this new trend already has at least 4 "tools"* out there. From Kiro's video on their main page, it seems like you can interact with the spec and click a button next to each task to kick it off, which is a neat feature. It def doesn't beat Codev's natural language installation process though :)
* tools? protocols? agents? Not sure what to call these, since it's really just a set of instructions to the actual agent, and "tool" in the AI context means something else completely. I'm hoping you guys can define the right term here :P
